Ghosts, legends and folklore are all woven into the tapestry of Fyvie Castle’s 800 year History. Royal guests stayed here – among them Robert the Bruce and Charles 1. Your holiday experience would not be complete without a visit to Turriff which for most of us is our home town. Small town shops include Scotch Corner, Lovely clothes for all occasions at Ladieswear and Lifestyle. For all its grandeur Visitors to Haddo House often remark on how homely it feels. The house combines Georgian architecture with late Victorian features. Well worth a visit.

Spirit of Speyside

Approaching Castle Fraser the granite walls rising up to the distinctive turrets make an imposing views. Venture through the castle to the round tower and enjoy panoramic views. You can then travel on the Spirit of Speyside train and make the spectacular journey from Keith to Dufftown to the Whisky town of Dufftown where we will visit Glenfiddich for a true taste of Scotland. A dram o’ Whisky and a guided tour.

ROYAL DEESIDE WALK

If you enjoy the outdoors then this is the tour for you. Explore and walk around Loch Kinord and Muir of Dinnet. All walking is on paths and tracks on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park with hills, scenic lochs and lots of wildlife, local history and natural heritage. TRADITIONAL ABERDEEN

Explore old Aberdeen, where the city has retained its sense of history and tradition. But the star of the High Street has to be Kings College with its domed crowned tower. Stand here and you will feel as if you have stepped back in time. Afterwards you have the chance to spend some money and shop till you drop.

BACK IN TIME

Spectacular ruined cliff top fortress with breathtaking views, home to the Earls of Marischals of Scotland. The crown Jewels of Scotland were hidden at this site during the dark days of Cromwell’s occupation. Another opportunity to shop, back into the centre of Aberdeen to browse at your own leisure
